Victoria Atkins, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, received a visit to Care Vision HQ, where the Director of Care Vision, Rishi Jawaheer warmly welcomed her. During her visit, Secretary Atkins and Director Jawaheer engaged in a comprehensive discussion about how technology can play a vital role in shaping the future of care.
The conversation focused on personalised care solutions and improvements while emphasising the need for technological innovations. Particularly, recruitment challenges, sponsored workers, and funding problems for the aging population are the key points of the discussion at which they both exchange insights on strategies to overcome these hurdles.
As part of the visit, Secretary Atkins visited one of our care homes and interacted with residents and staff as well. This hands-on experience provided a better understanding of how to meet the needs of those under care. Director Rishi Jawaheer expressed his gratitude for Secretary Atkins’ visit, stating, “We are honoured to have Secretary Atkins join us at Care Vision to discuss the critical issues facing the care sector. Her hands-on approach to engaging with residents highlights her commitment to improving the quality of care, in a care sector that plays a vital role, but doesn’t always get the positive focus that it has always deserved.”
