Care Vision Achieves Conformance with PRSB About Me Standard

Leading digital care management system, Care Vision, is delighted to announce that it has achieved conformance with the PRSB’s About Me Standard. This success reflects Care Vision’s dedication to improving the standard of care among care homes and respecting the dignity and needs of residents and patients around the recording of their personal information.

The About Me Standard from the PRSB (Professional Record Standards Body) aims to standardise how care settings capture, store and use personal and other information from residents to help them enable person-centred care. It provides guidelines for collecting and sharing important details about residents, such as their medications, care preferences, family contacts, personal likes and dislikes and chosen methods of communication.

Care Vision is a cloud-based care management system that assists care providers in meeting the health and social wellbeing needs of the people in their care. It provides a full range of digital tools designed to support person-led care, streamline administrative processes and foster effective communication among staff by sharing information. By achieving PRSB’s About Me standard compliance, Care Vision offers its users reassurance that the system can record vital information about residents and patients in an effective and fully compliant way.

Rishi Jawaheer, Director at Care Vision, said: “We are delighted to have achieved PRSB conformance with the About Me Standard. Not only does it strengthen our digital offering to care homes and other providers, but it also supports Care Vision’s commitment to putting the care of residents and patients first. This achievement also shows that our cloud-based, integrated care management solution is not only user-friendly, but compliant and robust when it comes to industry standards conformance.”

“We would like to thank our PRSB conformance assessors, Matt Butler and Isabel Kuncewicz, who made the process easy, providing dedicated support throughout the process. PRSB’s ongoing advice, recommendations and support will make it even easier for us to undergo future assessments.”Lorraine Foley, CEO at PRSB, commented: “We are pleased to see the surge in uptake in the conformance assessments against the About Me Standard, and that system suppliers are increasingly appreciating the value of sharing information on what is important to a person in a consistent way, supporting their care outcomes. The team at Care Vision worked hard to achieve this success and they should be very proud of their achievement.”
